Job summary

MAHLE Italy is seeking a Customer Order Manager to coordinate orders, verify terms, and ensure on-time delivery. You will collaborate with Production, Warehouse, and Sales to align priorities and resolve issues impacting schedules.

The role emphasizes accurate order data in SAP, strong Excel skills, and optimal use of ERP/MRP systems. Fluent English and Italian are essential to communicate with customers and internal teams, ensuring timely updates and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Strong English and Italian language skills.
• Proficient Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders by verifying commercial terms, minimum quantities, and delivery times.
• Promptly communicate lead times to customers and ensure on-time delivery of orders.
• Manage customer requests and inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Support the resolution of critical issues related to delays, material shortages, or changes to the production plan.
• Verify the feasibility of MRP plans and contribute to the planning of production activities.
• Ensure alignment between customer priorities, production capacity, and material availability.
• Monitor deliveries and collaborate with Production and Warehouse to ensure compliance with agreed-upon dates.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
• Help maintain inventory levels in line with company guidelines.
• Update and verify data in the company’s management system (SAP).
• Manage reporting
