He/She will support the start-up and commissioning of systems, ensuring that automation components and controls function correctly.
Role purpose:
- Developing customizations on different type of software: WMS, WCS, middleware and ad-hoc project applications
- Mastering device network configuration. Ability to work with customer’s IT dept streaming them hardware and VPN requests for project setup
- Manual or software sensors calibration. Configuration of parameters on automatic trucks embedded software
- Knowledge of machine components such as PLCs, drives, access points, batteries, etc.
- Performing System Commissioning and testing both at headquarters and on customer site
- Monitor and record system performances, reporting any anomalies
- Assist in drafting and maintaining technical documentation such as electrical diagrams, user manuals and commissioning reports
- Provide technical support to installation teams and specialized technical staff (also via remote access)
- Troubleshooting and answering questions about automation systems
- Collaborate with various technical departments to analyze needs and identify areas for improvement
Tasks and Qualifications:Who Are We Looking For:
- Degree in Engineering in the field of Computer Science/Telecommunications and/or Automation Informatics
- IT skills in:
- main programming languages including C, C#, Java, C++, Python, Kotlin
- main relational DBMS: SQLServer, MySQL, Oracle, Postgres
- main hardware and network components: rugged terminals, physical servers, PLCs, Access Points, Switches, Routers,
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Adept on PLC systems and their programming
- Familiarity with main automation components and their configuration (Drives, sensors using Profinet/IO-Link, communication boards, Wi-Fi, batteries)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Proactive mindset and willing to learn
- Good command of the English language
- Certifications for working at height, working with live electrical components, and high-risk operations (in accordance with your risk assessment policies)
