Job summary

The Lake Como EDITION in Lombardy, Italy, is seeking a Kitchen Prep/Line Cook to join our full-time team. You will prepare meals, regulate oven temperatures, and ensure proper portioning, presentation, and garnish according to recipes and standards.

You will maintain food logs, inform chefs about specials or shortages, and support the team during busy periods while adhering to safety policies. A technical/vocational education and at least 3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and a food preparation checklist.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator; ensure proper portioning and garnish.
• Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials and inform service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items.
