Job summary

Hosco.com in Italy is seeking a restaurant service associate to welcome guests, seat them, take and deliver food orders to tables according to hotel specifications, and perform opening duties.

You will maintain knowledge of all liquor brands, wines by the glass, menu items, and proper glassware; ensure beverage service complies with safety rules; and support guest inquiries with courtesy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and serving standards.
• Ability to comply with liquor regulations and responsible service policies.
• Strong wine knowledge and bottle/glassware handling.
• Experience with Micros POS and standard restaurant tech.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat them at tables, and deliver orders promptly and courteously.
• Open and serve wine or champagne and prepare hot beverages.
• Check beverage stock, replenish as needed, and maintain restaurant cleanliness.
• Handle guest complaints following approved procedures to ensure satisfaction.
• Close reports and hand over duties to the manager/supervisor.
