Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Bid Manager to lead pursuit teams for Commercial and Public Sector deals within our Sales Support organization in Rome. You will guide strategy, engage clients, manage the pursuit lifecycle, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders using Agile methods.

The role requires 3–7+ years in pursuit management or technical selling, and familiarity with Italian public procurement. English fluency is essential, Italian is native, with a hybrid work model in Rome.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in large pursuit management or technical selling.
• Experience with Italy public procurement processes preferred.
• Strong networking with local integrators and vendors.
• Proven ability to lead remote, cross-disciplinary teams.
• Experience as pursuit lead on large, complex projects.
• Adaptive project management for varying project sizes.
• Understanding IT industry tech factors: Applications, Analytics, ITO, Workplace, Security.
• Familiarity with Agile concepts; PMI/Prince2/Scrum Master certifications appreciated.
• Strong verbal and written communications in English; Italian mother tongue.
• Educational background: first-level degree; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Is SPOC for the client, third parties and partners regarding tender procurement and planning matters.
• Is part of the pursuit leadership team
• Develops, owns and maintains a pursuit plan;
• Forecasts and requests resources against the plan
• Manages the pursuit budget within affordability guidelines
• Oversees and ensures quality/timeliness of client deliverables across streams
• Owns end-to-end project management of the pursuit, risks and issues
• Communicates sales strategy and client requirements to the pursuit team
• Plans, prepares and participates in client meetings/workshops/presentations
• Supports sales lead in interactions with grouping alliance partners
