Kühne + Nagel is seeking an Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist in Milan, Lombardy. This role focuses on managing all operational activities, ensuring timely, accurate delivery and strong collaboration with stakeholders across air logistics processes.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and fluency in Italian and English. An IATA DRG certification is a plus, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic, international environment.

How you create impact

• Manage and perform all operational activities reliably, accurately and on-time, minimizing overdue tasks, and according to defined customer deliverables.
• Follows the communication concept for effective communication with stakeholders.
• Monitor shipments, follow up on all deviations, accurate and timely updates for visibility in internal systems, including financial data.
• Review and clarify operational instructions if there are conflicts or deviations with regulatory requirements, routing, tracking and tracing, rate information, or other discrepancies.
• Promptly report problems, operational disputes or discrepancies to the direct supervisor.
• Collaborates with all partners/suppliers, gateway, warehouse, customs teams, and external parties as needed.
• Monitors operational performance of carriers and other partners and elevate/ create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered.
• Active participant in process improvement identification, and implementing changes.
• Work with Sales and Customer Care teams on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations.
