Job summary

Yusen Logistics Group in Milano (Arluno) is seeking a seasoned B2B sales professional for Air Freight Forwarding across Italy, working with France, Spain and the global network. You will drive new business while expanding the existing customer portfolio and delivering tailored air freight solutions.

You will craft compelling commercial proposals, negotiate with cross-functional teams, and monitor performance metrics to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B commercial experience in freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of air freight solutions.
• Proven ability to develop tailored commercial proposals for customers.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience using CRM tools and managing a commercial pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop Air Freight Forwarding business including B2B prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline growth.
• Manage and retain a client portfolio with customized solutions.
• Build and negotiate commercial offers with procurement, pricing and ops teams; participate in tenders.
• Drive cross-selling with other business units and promote value-added services.
• Collaborate with operations to optimize commercial strategy and provide market insights.
• Monitor KPIs, CRM activity, and analysis of customer/trade lane results.
• Support implementation of flows and SOPs with internal teams.
• Consider client solvency, pricing consistency and collections in deals.
• Contribute to quality and continuous improvement of internal processes.
