Job summary

Yusen Logistics in Milano (Arluno) is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager for Air Freight Forwarding to drive revenue and profitability in Italy, collaborating with France, Spain and the global network.

You will build a robust pipeline through B2B prospecting, tailor offers with pricing and operations, and work with multiple stakeholders to optimize flows and achieve KPIs. This role includes a hybrid work arrangement with a company car and meal vouchers.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of B2B commercial experience in freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of air freight solutions and the wider logistics environment.
• Proven ability to develop compelling commercial proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable using CRM tools and managing a commercial pipeline.
• Autonomous, proactive and well organized, with strong priority-management skills.
• Professional Spanish & English required; French or Italian a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop Air Freight Forwarding business including B2B prospecting, lead qualification, and commercial pipeline growth.
• Manage and retain a client portfolio by offering customized solutions.
• Build and negotiate commercial offers in collaboration with procurement, pricing and operations, and participate in tenders.
• Drive cross-selling initiatives with other Business Units and promote value-added services.
• Work closely with operations to optimize commercial strategy and provide insights on market trends.
• Monitor commercial performance including KPIs, CRM activity, and analysis of customer and trade lane results.
• Support the operational implementation of flows and SOPs with internal teams.
