Job summary

Barsan Global Logistics is launching a new commercial presence in Milan and seeks an experienced Business Development Specialist to establish and grow Barsan’s Lombardy and Northern Italy footprint. You will generate new business opportunities, build lasting customer relationships, and work with our Modena operations team to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding.
Proven track record in business development and sales.
Experience in Sea Freight, Air Freight and/or Road Freight.
Existing customer portfolio and market network are highly valued.
Italian native speaker or fluent; good command of English.

Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities across Sea Freight, Road Freight, Air Freight and international logistics services.
Identify and acquire new customers.
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers and business partners.
Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
Work closely with the operations team in Modena to ensure excellent customer service.
Contribute to the establishment and future development of Barsan's Milan office.
Represent Barsan in customer meetings, networking events and industry activities.
