Job summary

Isite Technologies in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a US IT Recruiter to source, screen, and place technology professionals for US-based companies while learning the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle under senior guidance.

You will handle candidate sourcing, resume screening, initial prequalification, interview coordination, and database updates, with opportunities to learn US tax terms and visa types under a team lead.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any stream (B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, MBA, etc.).
• Experience: 0 to 4 years of experience (Freshers are welcome).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are a strict requirement.
• Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in the night shift (US time zones).
• Skills: Good computer literacy, high energy, resilience, and a strong desire to build a career in international recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing active and passive IT talent via job portals, LinkedIn, and internal databases.
• Screening resumes to verify technical skills, tools, and project experience alignment.
• Conducting short prequalification calls to assess interest, tech background, and availability.
• Coordinating technical or managerial interviews between candidates and clients or senior managers.
• Updating candidate statuses, notes, and feedback in daily databases/spreadsheets.
• Learning US market basics (W2, 1099, C2C) and visa types (H1B, OPT, Green Card) under supervision.

• Candidate Sourcing: Search job portals, LinkedIn, and internal databases using basic search techniques (like Boolean strings) to find active and passive IT talent.
• Resume Screening: Review applicant resumes to check if their technical skills, tools, and past project experience match open job orders.
• Initial Prequalification: Conduct short phone or video calls to assess a candidate's interest, basic tech background, communication skills, and availability.
• Interview Coordination: Schedule and line up technical or managerial interviews between the candidate and the client or senior account manager.
• Pipeline and Database Management: Update daily spreadsheets with candidate statuses, notes, and feedback.
• US Market Basics: Learn US tax terms (like W2, 1099, or C2C) and basic visa types (such as H1B, OPT, or Green Card) under a team lead's supervision.
