Job summary

Thakkar S Developers Limited is seeking a capable Site Engineer to supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. The role involves coordinating with architects, consultants, and management while leading contractors and labour at the Nashik site.

You will plan daily to monthly activities, monitor progress, manage quality and safety, and mentor junior engineers and supervisors to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction methodology and site execution.
• Excellent drawing-reading and interpretation skills.
• MS Excel / MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Independently supervise and manage assigned construction activities.
• Plan daily, weekly and monthly site activities.
• Ensure execution is strictly as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Supervise RCC, structural, masonry, plastering, waterproofing and finishing works.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants and project management teams.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, supervisors and labour teams.
• Monitor manpower productivity and work allocation.
• Verify measurements, levels, alignment and quality of executed work.
• Identify deviations and ensure corrective action.
• Monitor material requirements, consumption and wastage.
• Coordinate with stores and procurement teams for timely material availability.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules.
• Identify potential delays and escalation issues proactively.
• Prepare DPRs, progress reports and other project documentation.
• Maintain records related to drawings, measurements, inspections and site activities.
• Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and site discipline.
• Conduct regular quality inspections.
• Support project management in achieving project milestones.
• Guide and mentor Junior Site Engineers and site supervisors.
