Job summary

Bihariji Ispat Udyog in Greater Noida is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on the project site, ensuring work follows approved drawings and specifications.

The role requires coordinating with contractors, consultants, and the design team, inspecting workmanship, tracking progress, and preparing progress reports to keep the project on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
• Good understanding of RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurements, and billing.
• Strong contractor and manpower management skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of construction quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure execution of work as per approved architectural and structural drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and project teams.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Inspect the quality of civil works, materials, and workmanship.
• Verify measurements and quantities of completed work.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment deployed at the site.
• Identify and resolve technical and execution-related issues at the site.
• Review drawings and coordinate with the design team for clarifications.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, measurement sheets, and site documentation.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for timely availability of construction materials.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure proper utilization of resources.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure rectification of defects.
• Report project progress, delays, quality issues, and site requirements to the Project Manager.
