Job summary

Tigi Hr Solution is seeking a Civil Engineering professional for on-site project execution in Bengaluru. You will lead daily construction activities, ensure quality, manage materials and oversee BBS, measurements, and contractor billing. You will coordinate with architects, MEP/structural engineers, and clients for timely handovers.

The role demands hands-on site management, ability to read drawings, control budgets and ensure safety on every phase of the project.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in building construction, finishing works and handovers.
• Ability to read structural, architectural and MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of BBS, quantity estimation and contractor billing.
• Familiarity with plumbing, sanitary, water supply, sewage treatment and electrical systems.
• Strong project and site management skills.
• Clear communication for client handovers and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly targets, direct daily construction activities and submit daily site progress reports.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Execution & Daily Planning: Prepare weekly targets for the execution team, direct daily construction activities (including finishing items), and prepare/submit daily site progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Quality Assurance & Inspection: Ensure execution quality across all levels per company standards, prepare flats for QA inspection, and resolve snags.
• Material & Inventory Management: Handle material indenting to guarantee timely site availability, and oversee Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Quantity Surveying & Billing: Perform quantity surveying and estimation, take site measurements, and verify/approve monthly progress bills and certifications for contractors.
• Stakeholder & Multi-Disciplinary Coordination: Monitor and coordinate with professional consultants (Architects, Interior Designers, Electrical, and Structural Engineers), issue minutes of meetings (MOMs), and manage client interactions for scheduled flat handovers.
• Technical Oversight: Manage building construction tasks, including internal/external plumbing, sanitary systems, water supply, sewage treatment, and electrical installations.
• Budget, Schedule & Safety: Track work schedules to deliver the project on time and within budget while monitoring on-site health and safety compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech civil engg.
• Experience: Hands-on experience in building construction, finishing works, and flat handovers.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Ability to read structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), quantity estimation, and contractor billing.
