Job summary

Energy In Motion in Gujarat seeks a skilled Civil Site Engineer to supervise day-to-day civil construction activities and interpret drawings for on-site execution. You will coordinate with contractors and teams, monitor resources, ensure quality, and prepare progress reports. Strong RCC, concreting, excavation and shuttering experience is preferred.

You will work independently at project sites, manage multiple activities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of civil construction and site execution.
• Hands-on experience in RCC, concreting, excavation, backfilling, shuttering and finishing works.
• Knowledge of quantity calculation, measurements, BOQ and contractor billing.
• Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.
• Supervise excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, backfilling, masonry, flooring, finishing, roads and drainage works.
• Read and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings and ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with civil contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors and site teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor manpower, material and equipment deployment at site.
• Check the quality of construction materials and workmanship at different stages of execution.
• Conduct site measurements and assist in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, material reconciliation and contractor billing.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Ensure construction work is completed within the planned schedule and quality parameters.
• Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports, Weekly Progress Reports and Monthly Progress Reports.
