Job summary

Galacon Infrastructure And Projects in Indore is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee civil construction activities on the project site, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specifications and schedules.

The role requires reading civil/structural drawings, coordinating with project team, managing RCC, shuttering, masonry, plastering, and finishing works, and maintaining DPRs and site docs. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Planning Engineer, QA/QC Engineer, contractors, and consultants for smooth project execution.
• Check and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and work progress at site.
• Read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Ensure proper execution of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing works.
• Take site measurements and maintain records of executed quantities.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
• Monitor daily work progress and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and approved work procedures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for timely completion of activities.
• Assist in material planning and ensure proper utilization of resources.
• Monitor work as per project schedule and support timely achievement of project milestones.
• Maintain proper site documentation, records, drawings, and inspection reports.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed at the construction site.
