Job summary

Godha Infrastructions India is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs, and method statements. You will coordinate with subcontractors, workers, and QA/QC teams, monitor workmanship and material quality, and maintain daily site records.

The ideal candidate has 13 years of site experience, reading drawings proficiency, and knowledge of RCC and masonry works.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• 13 years of relevant construction site experience.
• Basic knowledge of civil construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work at construction project sites.
• Knowledge of RCC and masonry works.
• Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, workers, vendors, and site supervisors.
• Check line, level, plumb, dimensions, and workmanship of construction activities.
• Monitor masonry, plastering, RCC, flooring, waterproofing, painting, and finishing works.
• Assist in quantity measurements and preparation of work quantities.
• Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Check quality of materials delivered to the site.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and quality checks.
• Identify site issues and report them to the Senior Engineer/Project Manager.
• Assist in preparing material requirements and indent requests.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to achieve daily and weekly targets.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with site safety requirements.
• Assist in preparing measurement sheets, RA bills, and subcontractor work measurements.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on work progress.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, instructions, measurements, and site records.
