Job summary

E C R Buildtech is seeking a skilled Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee daily site activities in Nagpur District, Maharashtra. You will interpret structural and architectural drawings, manage resources, and ensure quality and safety while coordinating with subcontractors and QA/QC teams.

You will also monitor progress, prepare daily reports, and assist in measurements and quantity records to support timely project completion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
• Execute RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plaster, flooring, waterproofing, finishing, and other civil works as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
• Check line, level, alignment, dimensions, and elevations before and during execution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, surveyors, and other site teams.
• Prepare daily work plans and ensure achievement of planned targets.
• Monitor manpower, material, machinery, and resource requirements.
• Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize wastage.
• Conduct inspections and ensure work is executed as per approved method statements and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, testing, and quality documentation.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
• Maintain daily progress reports, work records, measurement records, and site documentation.
• Assist the Billing/QS team in joint measurements and preparation of quantity records.
• Verify subcontractor work quantities before certification.
• Monitor work progress against the project schedule and report delays or constraints.
• Ensure compliance with project safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Coordinate with MEP and other agencies to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates regarding progress, manpower, materials, and technical issues.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe and organized work area.
