Job summary

MAX Properties in India is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to supervise daily construction activities at multiple sites, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs and quality standards. You will coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and workers, monitor progress, measurements and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/BE/BTech in Civil Engineering with 5–10 years of hands-on site experience, strong problem-solving and teamwork, and willingness to travel between project

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5–10 years of experience in construction/site execution.
• Hands-on experience in site trades and ability to supervise workers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the site.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, supervisors, and workers.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Check measurements, materials, workmanship, and work progress.
• Monitor bar bending & shuttering, concrete & brick work, tiles & painting, plumbing & electrical, carpentry & checklist activities as assigned.
• Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment at the site.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely solutions.
• Maintain daily work progress reports, measurements, checklists, and site records.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure workers comply with site safety requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to complete activities within the planned schedule.
• Conduct quality inspections and report defects or deviations.
• Support senior engineers in planning, execution, and project documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, drawings, and measurements.
• Ability to supervise workers and coordinate with contractors.
• Strong site management and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to work at construction sites and travel between project locations when required.
• Candidates with strong practical site experience will be preferred.
