Techtools Trading India is seeking a Senior Engineer – Tools to provide expert technical support across automobile, manufacturing, industrial, and cutting tools. You will assess applications, recommend tool sets, and guide customers through tooling solutions in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The role requires 4–8 years of relevant experience in industrial and automobile tools, with strong knowledge of tool materials, coatings, and machining processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and support for automobile tools, manufacturing tools, industrial tools, and cutting tools.
  • Understand customer and production requirements and recommend suitable tools and technical solutions.
  • Identify the correct tools based on application, material, machine type, specifications, and operational requirements.
  • Handle technical evaluation and selection of cutting tools, machining tools, hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools.
  • Support customers and internal teams with product specifications, applications, and tool usage.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and technical teams regarding tool specifications and product requirements.
  • Analyze tool performance and recommend suitable alternatives or improved solutions.
  • Provide technical support for tool selection, tool life improvement, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
  • Understand machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, tapping, boring, grinding, and cutting.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and prepare technical proposals and product recommendations.
  • Coordinate with the Purchase, Sales, Warehouse, and Operations teams for product availability and technical requirements.
  • Identify suitable alternative brands or products based on customer specifications and applications.
  • Maintain technical documentation, product specifications, catalogues, drawings, and application details.
  • Visit customer locations when required to understand applications and provide technical support.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for technical clarifications, product demonstrations, samples, and trials.
  • Monitor new developments and technologies in industrial, manufacturing, and cutting tools.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues related to tool performance, incorrect applications, wear, breakage, and productivity.
  • Support the team in identifying cost-effective and technically suitable solutions for customers.
  • Prepare technical reports, product comparison reports, application reports, and recommendations for management and customers.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Senior Engineer – Tools with strong knowledge of Automobile Tools, Manufacturing Tools, Industrial Tools, Cutting Tools, and Engineering Consumables.

The candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in selecting, evaluating, sourcing, and supporting various industrial and automotive tools. The role requires strong knowledge of tool applications, specifications, materials, machining processes, and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with automobile manufacturing, engineering industries, production environments, machine shops, or industrial tool suppliers and should possess strong technical knowledge of cutting tools, hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and manufacturing tools.
