Job summary

Cutmac Marketing Pvt Ltd in Chennai seeks an Engineer - Sales & Service Cutting Tools to drive growth in the manufacturing sector. The role covers lead generation, product presentations, demonstrations, quotations, order management and customer service from Chennai base.

You will work with the sales team to meet targets, travel to customer sites in Tamil Nadu and nearby states, and coordinate with service teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing industries & Heavy Industries segment.
• Experience in selling industrial products like Cutting tools & Metal Working Solutions.
• Based in Chennai with willingness to travel Tamil Nadu, Andhra & Karnataka, Pondicherry.
• Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• 1–3 years experience in industrial sales, preferably in power tools & hand tools.
• Strong techno-commercial skills and good command of English and Tamil.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and product demonstrations at customer sites.
• Prepare commercial and technical proposals.
• Estimate pricing, manage orders and collect payments.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide after-sales support.
• Meet sales and collection targets; contribute to P&L for assigned product group.
• Travel to customer sites within Tamil Nadu and nearby states.

• Should have sound technical and commercial knowledge.
  
• Will have to work as a team and increase sales as per the company's goal.
  
• He will be responsible for lead generation, product presentation, demonstration, estimation, o rder management, payment collections & customer service.
  
• Meeting sales & collection targets in assigned territory, Shall be responsible for the P&L for the product group assigned.
  
• He will be reporting to the Managing Director and coordinating with other sales team members.
  
• Preparing commercial and technical proposals.
  
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machines
  
• Ability to conduct commercial negotiations with goodTechno-Commercial skills
  
• Good command over spoken and written English and Tamil
  
• Conducting trials & demonstrations at customer machines and providing the right manufacturing solutions to the customers.
  
• Maintaining relations with customers and conduction customer presentations.
  
• Visiting Customers regularly. Participate in Pre-Sales and Trouble Shooting activities.
