Job Title: Team Lead - Accounts
Reporting To: Managing Director
Job Purpose:
To manage the financial accounting operations of the company, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, maintain accurate financial records, and support decision‑making through timely reporting and analysis.
- Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Ensure timely preparation and finalization of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
- Ensure compliance with GST reconciliation & refund, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements. Import Export Documents and MOOWR Scheme.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
- Support management in cost optimization and financial planning.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
- Effective cash flow and working capital management.
- Audit observations and compliance score.
- Stakeholder satisfaction (internal and external).
Qualifications
Education: Completed /Inter Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA) or MBA (Finance) with strong accounting background.
Certifications / Trainings:
- Certification in GST, Income Tax, or SAP/ERP (preferred).
- Training in Financial Analysis or Compliance Management (desirable).
Experience: 2–4 years of post‑qualification experience in accounting and finance.
Preferred: Experience in manufacturing or renewable energy sector.
- Integrity and ethical conduct.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws.

Working Conditions

- Location: This role is based at our manufacturing facility located near Rajkot.
- Work Environment: The position operates primarily within a plant environment, which may involve exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Work Schedule: Standard working hours with occasional requirements for extended hours based on operational needs. Shift‑based work may be applicable depending on the role and department.
- Travel Requirements: Minimal travel is expected; however, occasional visits to vendors, training centers, or other company locations may be required.
- Safety Gear: Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, safety shoes, and ear protection is mandatory in designated areas.
