Department: Document Controller
Job Title: Team Lead –Document Controller
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage documentcontrol activities for solar cell manufacturing projects, ensuring accuratedocumentation, compliance with standards, and timely availability of projectrecords. This role is essential for maintaining data integrity, supportingproject execution, and enabling smooth audits and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and maintain a robust document controlsystem for project and plant operations.
- Manage the creation, review, approval, anddistribution of technical documents, drawings, and records.
- Ensure compliance with document controlprocedures, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement,quality, and project teams to ensure timely submission and retrieval ofdocuments.
- Maintain electronic and physical archives ofproject documentation for easy access and retrieval.
- Monitor document revisions and ensure versioncontrol across all stakeholders.
- Prepare periodic reports on document status,pending approvals, and compliance metrics.
- Support audits by providing accurate andcomplete documentation as required.
- Train team members and contractors on documentcontrol processes and tools.

Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree inEngineering or related field
Certifications/ Trainings
- ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Document Control Software Training (e.g.,Aconex, Procore, or similar)
Experience:
- Experience: Minimum 6–10 years ofexperience in document control within large-scale industrial projects,preferably in solar, semiconductor, or high-tech manufacturing sectors
- Preferred: Familiarity with EPC projectdocumentation and regulatory compliance requirements
- Behavioural: Attention to detail,organizational skills, and ability to work under deadlines
- Functional: Knowledge of document controlstandards, version control, and archiving practices
- System: Proficiency in documentmanagement systems (DMS), MS Office, and ERP tools like SAP
Working Conditions:
- This role will be carried out within amanufacturing plant environment located near Rajkot.
- Location: This role is based at ourmanufacturing facility located near Rajkot.
- Work Environment: The position operatesprimarily within a plant environment, which may involve exposure to noise,machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Work Schedule: Standard working hourswith occasional requirements for extended hours based on operational needs.Shift-based work may be applicable depending on the role and department.
- Travel Requirements: Minimal travel isexpected; however, occasional visits to vendors, training centers, or othercompany locations may be required.
- Safety Gear: Use of personal protectiveequipment (PPE) such as helmets, safety shoes, and ear protection is mandatoryin designated areas.
