Job summary

Delhivery in Hubli seeks a shift supervisor to oversee unloading, putaway, picking and loading within assigned areas, ensuring tasks meet turnaround times. You will motivate loaders, conduct shift briefings, and coordinate with FM/LM to maintain flow and metrics.

Responsibilities include bag sorting by destination, fleet and vendor coordination for vehicle availability, and audits to ensure SOP compliance in hub operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising logistics teams and operations.
• Knowledge of hub operations and TAT targets.
• Familiarity with MIS systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise allocated work areas to meet TATs for unloading, putaway, picking and loading; motivate the team through on-the-job training.
• Handle shift for Exe / Sr GC / JL; manage inbound/outbound loads as per schedule; coordinate with FM and LM.
• Oversee bag sorting by destinations with process executives & ground coordinators; manage fleet/vendor coordination for vehicle availability.
• Perform audits and ensure adherence to SOPs for bag handling, hub operations, pre-alerts, sorting and connections.

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure supervision in allocated work areas with meeting TATs for the allotted processes (unloading, put, picking, loading); ensure team motivation through on the job training & mentoring)To handle the defined work area for a shift and monitor the Exe / Sr GC / JL. Incoming and Outgoing of loads to be handled as per scheduleCoordinate with various co departments (FM and LM)Motivating and conducting the shift briefing the Loaders & unloaders Manpower management to enable timely connections and metricsManaging bag sorting as per the destinations through process executives & ground co-ordinatorsFleet and vendor management, coordination for managing vehicle availability
