Job summary

Zepto in India is seeking an Operations and Inventory Lead to own the delivery hub's stock accuracy, ageing, DOH and overall stock health, while driving shrinkage control and SOP compliance across shifts.

You will manage end-to-end store operations, define and track KPIs, lead manpower planning, use data to identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and handle escalations to ensure scalable, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory management at the delivery hub, including stock accuracy, ageing, DOH, and overall stock health.
• Drive shrinkage control by identifying loss points, implementing SOPs, audits, and corrective actions.
• Manage end-to-end store operations inbound, putaway, picking, dispatch, returns, and reconciliation.
• Ensure strict adherence to process, safety, and compliance standards across shifts.
• Define, track, and improve operational KPIs like fill rate, inventory accuracy, shrink %, productivity, and SLA adherence.
• Lead manpower planning and handling — rostering, productivity tracking, performance management, and on-ground issue resolution.
• Use data to identify bottlenecks, recommend process improvements, and drive continuous efficiency gains.
• Handle escalations related to inventory mismatch, manpower shortages, or operational disruptions.
• Drive training and capability building for team members to ensure consistent execution at scale.
