Job Description: Sr. Marketplace Operations Associate

A Senior Marketplace Operations Associate plays a pivotal role in scaling and optimizing an organizations e-commerce and third-party (3P) business. Positioned between commercial strategy and technical execution, this senior professional is responsible for managing high-value merchant accounts, streamlining supply chains, resolving complex technical integration issues, and leveraging data analytics to maximize marketplace revenue.

• Platforms & Tooling: Expert-level knowledge of major e-commerce backends (such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, Shopify, Mirakl, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Technical Aptitude: Experience with data feed management, basic SQL, and database synchronization tools.
• Problem-Solving & Escalation: Proven track record of independently resolving high-stakes account issues, listing suspensions, or policy violations.
• Audit and design end-to-end seller onboarding processes, listing automations, and fulfillment workflows to eliminate manual bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot advanced API, EDI, or XML data feed issues that sync inventory levels, product details, and orders between external merchants and the core marketplace database.
• Coordinate with internal logistics teams and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize stock replenishment, decrease delivery times, and reduce chargebacks.
• Develop and monitor operational dashboards tracking critical marketplace KPIs (e.g., Seller Refund Rates, Customer Experience Metrics, Buy-Box Ownership percentage, and Catalog Error Rates).
