Job summary

Safari Industries India is seeking a Marketplace Operations specialist to own day-to-day engine of our marketplace business, ensuring accurate product listings, timely order processing, and healthy inventory across fulfilment models.

You will leverage SAP, OMS and Excel to generate daily KPIs, coordinate with supply chain and regional teams, and manage pricing discrepancies and returns, driving high seller ratings and SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketplace/e-commerce operations with exposure to leading portals.
• Advanced Excel proficiency including pivots and large-data handling, SAP/OMS exposure preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage daily deadlines and SLAs with cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role purpose Own the day-to-day engine of Safari's marketplace business: get the right products listed accurately and fast, keep orders flowing at 100% SLA across every fulfilment model, hold inventory and returns healthy, and turn portal and SAP data into reports the business can act on.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Drive accurate and timely uploading and management of new and existing product ranges across multiple marketplace portals, ensuring digital content, product pages, dynamic pricing and brand guidelines remain aligned with daily trading requirements.
• Manage end-to-end order processing across multiple marketplace fulfilment models, proactively working with supply chain teams, logistics partners and regional branches to ensure seamless operations, timely dispatches and adherence to defined SLAs.
• Monitor stock levels, evaluate sales trends and leverage data insights to strengthen inventory forecasting, slotting and production planning while maintaining optimal inventory levels and preventing stockouts across fulfilment centres.
• Address customer feedback, operational queries and returns across platforms by coordinating timely resolutions reducing return rates, improving reverse logistics and sustaining strong seller ratings.
• Use SAP, OMS, Excel and other analytical tools to maintain accurate operational data, generate daily reports and track KPIs while partnering with internal teams and channel clients to resolve pricing discrepancies, complete financial reconciliation and ensure timely payment collection.

Preferred Candidate profile:

1. Experienced in marketplace/e-commerce operations experience with hands-on exposure to Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Flipkart Seller Hub and Myntra PPMP.

2. Advanced Excel proficiency including pivots, lookups and large-data handling, with SAP and OMS exposure preferred.

3. Strong attention to detail, ability to manage daily deadlines and SLAs, effective cross-functional coordination, communication and ownership with disciplined escalation.
