Job summary

InfoBeans is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and enhance the ServiceNow platform. The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on experience across ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, and Knowledge Management, with a strong focus on data foundation and best practices.

You will collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and other technical teams to deliver scalable, maintainable ServiceNow solutions and contribute to upgrades, integrations, and governance activities.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience across ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, and Knowledge Management.
• Strong expertise in ITSM, Knowledge Management, CMDB, ITOM, and ServiceNow Data Foundation.
• Experience implementing best practices and governance for ServiceNow platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.
• Develop solutions across ITSM, Knowledge Management, CMDB, ITOM, and Data Foundation capabilities.
• Translate functional requirements and user stories into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, Notifications, Scheduled Jobs, and Scripted REST APIs.
• Configure and develop Flow Designer, Workflow, Service Catalog, Record Producers, Catalog Items, and Approval processes.
• Work on CMDB data models, CI classes, relationships, identification and reconciliation, and data quality.
• Support CMDB and data foundation initiatives, including data normalization, governance, and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration mechanisms.
• Work with ITOM capabilities, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and related CMDB integrations.
• Configure and enhance Knowledge Management, including knowledge bases, article workflows, permissions, and lifecycle management.
• Implement ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
• Perform application development while adhering to ServiceNow best practices and platform standards.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, defect resolution, and support UAT activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance problems, and production defects.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure development follows established coding and security standards.
• Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, releases, and instance health activities.
• Prepare technical documentation for developed solutions, configurations, integrations, and customizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

ServiceNow Developer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, configuring, and enhancing the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ITSM, Knowledge Management, CMDB, ITOM, and ServiceNow Data Foundation, along with a solid understanding of ServiceNow development best practices.
