Job summary

Oerlikon Balzers in Gurugram, India seeks a service engineer with hands-on mechanical skills to maintain coating and supporting machines. You will perform preventive and breakdown maintenance and provide emergency repairs to keep production running.

The role requires troubleshooting CNC machines, relay logic, PLC controls, and AC drives, with an added advantage of vacuum technology. Strong adherence to safety and HSE/5S practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years experience as service engineer in mechanical/service industry.
• Should exhibit resourcefulness as well as active listening & troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance activity of all coating machines & supporting machines.
• Carry out breakdown maintenance activity of all coating machines & supporting machines.
• Provide emergency equipment repairs to keep production running at all times.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting CNC machines, relay logic, PLC control and AC drives.
• Added advantage of vacuum technology.
• Communicate to service and shift leader in case of machine troubles/errors.
• Adhere to safety requirements and promote 5S/HSE practices.
