Job summary

CIEL HR is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Bavla coating center. The role requires a Diploma/BE in Electronics & Instrumentation or Electrical with 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience, including hands-on work with AC/DC drives, utilities, troubleshooting, and PLC programming.

The incumbent will maintain coating and degassing machines and manage utilities and spares, while adhering to BTS safety directives.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Electronics & Instrumentation or Electrical is required.
• 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience with hands-on work on AC/DC drives, utilities, troubleshooting, PLC programming and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment in the coating center.
• Maintenance of coating machines, degassing machine, and regrinding machines.
• Maintenance of utilities including stripping, warm & cold-water plants, compressors, RO plant, ETP, DG sets, transformer, LT panel, and micro blasting.
• Carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines.
• Updating and filing the Machine Trouble Report and Machine History Card.
• Planning and execution of weekly, monthly and half-yearly maintenance with record-keeping.
• Aim for energy cost control, reliability, maintenance cost control, and machine safety per BTS directives.
• Plan and control spare parts management system.
• Work towards continuous improvement and excellence in function performance.
• Oversee failures, initiate preventive action, and suggest improvement ideas.
• Take initiative to make alternate spare parts for cost savings.
