Job summary

Vision India Services is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of machines and SPM equipment at client sites. Responsibilities include on-site installation, hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and training customer operators.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering.
• At least 2-5 years of experience as a Service Engineer in machine manufacturing, automation, or SPM industries.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test machines/SPMs at client sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.
• Train customer operators and maintenance teams.
• Prepare service reports and document issues; suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with design, production, and R&D teams for technical support.

The role demands strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to delivering excellent after-sales service.

• Install, commission, and test machines/SPMs at client sites.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolve technical issues (mechanical, electrical, automation).
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.
• Train customer operators/maintenance teams for effective machine usage.
• Prepare service reports, document issues, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with design, production, and R&D teams for technical support and feedback.
• Ensure timely response to service calls and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Support spare parts management and service revenue generation.
• Adhere to company safety and quality standards during field activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation (PLC/CNC basics preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (domestic/international as required).
• Basic knowledge of service documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering.
• 25 years of experience as a Service Engineer in machine manufacturing, automation, or SPM industry.
