Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our garment/manufacturing client in Chennai. The role focuses on ensuring machine performance and production continuity through proactive maintenance and timely parts support.

You will inspect equipment, coordinate with production teams, and plan servicing schedules to minimize downtime and enable smooth changeovers. 2+ years in maintenance within manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma with 2+ years of experience in production machinery maintenance.
• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment.
• Strong understanding of spare parts management and downtime reduction.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production and service equipment to ensure optimum machine performance and continuity of production.

• Ensure availability of critical spare parts to minimize downtime and ensure quick repair turnaround.

• Candidates from Garment/Apparel/Textile/Manufacturing industries preferred.
