Job summary

Expertie is seeking a counsellor to guide students and parents in selecting colleges, exams, and pathways. You will counsel on eligibility, fees, and programs, building trusted relationships through clear communication and ethical guidance.

The role involves handling high-priority inquiries, maintaining CRM records, and mentoring junior counsellors while collaborating with admissions and operations for smooth onboarding.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in any stream with strong communication skills.
• Experience in counselling, education sales, or advisory roles is preferred.
• Ability to handle complex student requirements with clarity and confidence.

What you'll do

• Make outbound and inbound calls to counsel students with advanced needs or complex profiles
• Give expert guidance on colleges, entrance exams, eligibility, fees, and academic pathways
• Evaluate student backgrounds to recommend the most suitable options
• Build strong relationships with students and parents using clarity and authority
• Handle escalated and high-priority counselling inquiries
• Drive consistent follow-ups to convert high-quality leads into confirmed admissions
• Maintain detailed CRM records, case notes, and follow-up structures
• Mentor junior counsellors through training, call reviews, and best practices
• Collaborate with operations and admissions teams for smooth onboarding

What we're looking for

• Exceptional communication in Hindi and English
• Experience in counselling, education sales, or academic advisory roles
• Ability to handle complex student requirements with clarity and confidence
• Strong persuasion skills with an ethical, student-first approach
• Target-driven, disciplined, and comfortable with high conversation volumes
• Leadership qualities and willingness to mentor juniors
• Strong calling and follow-up discipline
• Graduate or postgraduate in any stream
