Job summary

Highbrow Technology Inc. in Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Kolkata is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Testing Consultant.

You will lead testing for Time Management and Payroll modules across complex PCRs, schema changes, and retroactive payroll scenarios. The role requires 6+ years hands-on SAP HCM testing, with familiarity in JIRA, Agile, SIT/UAT support, defect management, and test automation tools such as TOSCA.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of hands-on SAP HCM testing experience with focus on Time Management and Payroll.
• Experience in JIRA, Agile and delivery of SAP projects.
• Demonstrated testing of complex custom PCRs, schema changes, and time/payroll rule changes.
• Experience testing custom ABAP reports and objects within SAP HCM landscape.
• Hands-on experience with SAP test automation tools (TOSCA or similar).
• Solid understanding of retroactive payroll processing and its testing implications.
• Experience executing SIT cycles and supporting UAT, including defect management and retesting.
• Strong understanding of SAP HCM–standard testing terminology (e.g., Positive Functional Test, Retroactive Accounting Check).
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work with functional, technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute SIT cycles and support UAT, including defect management and retesting.
• Collaborate with functional/technical/business teams to ensure quality releases.
• Prepare and maintain test artefacts and test data.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
• Contribute to risk assessment and test planning for SAP HCM projects.

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM testing, with strong exposure to Time Management and Payroll modules.


• experience in JIRA, Agile and Delivery


• Demonstrated experience testing complex custom PCRs, schema modifications, and time/payroll rule changes.


• Experience testing custom ABAP reports and objects within an SAP HCM landscape.


• Hands-on experience with test automation tools for SAP (TOSCA or similar); ability to build and maintain automated test scripts independently.


• Solid understanding of retroactive payroll processing and its testing implications.


• Experience executing SIT cycles and supporting UAT, including defect management and retesting.


• Strong understanding of SAP HCM-standard testing terminology (e.g., Positive Functional Test, Retroactive Accounting Check, Personnel Subgroup Variant).


• Excellent communication skills, with ability to work directly with functional, technical, and business teams.

Good to have:

• Experience with S/4HANA HCM landscapes.


• Exposure to Fiori/OData testing.


• Experience testing integrations between SAP HCM and third-party/ServiceNow-type systems.


• Familiarity with collective agreement-driven configuration testing (union/non-union employee groups).


• SAP HCM functional certification.
