Job summary

Elance Learning seeks a dynamic Sales Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs to boost our sales team's capabilities. You will lead onboarding for new hires, strengthen product knowledge, and coach for stronger closing performance.

This role involves conducting inductions, delivering classroom and virtual sessions, assessing trainee performance, and collaborating with Sales Managers to address performance gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business or related field.
• Experience in Sales Training, Learning & Development, or Sales Coaching desired.
• Experience in Inside Sales, EdTech, or high-volume sales environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Training Delivery: conduct induction and onboarding for new sales hires and deliver classroom and virtual training sessions on sales processes, products, communication, objection handling, and closing techniques.
• Sales Coaching: conduct regular coaching sessions based on call audits and performance metrics; provide one-on-one feedback to improve conversations and conversions; support team leaders in identifying development opportunities.
• Performance Assessment: evaluate trainee performance through assessments, mock calls, certifications, and practical demonstrations; monitor post-training performance and recommend refreshers; track KPIs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: partner with Sales Managers to identify training needs; support new process rollouts and product launches through targeted training.
• Reporting & Documentation: maintain training calendars, attendance records, assessment scores, and certification data; prepare training MIS reports and share insights with management; track training completion and employee progress.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Training Delivery

   • Deliver classroom and virtual training sessions on sales processes, products, communication, objection handling, and closing techniques.
   • Ensure trainees are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to achieve performance targets.
2. 2. Sales Coaching
   • Conduct regular coaching sessions based on call audits and performance metrics.
   • Provide one-on-one feedback to improve sales conversations and conversion rates.
   • Support Team Leaders and Managers in identifying development opportunities.
3. 3. Performance Assessment

Required Qualifications
