Job summary

Talent Corner HR Services seeks a proactive Sales Operations Lead for the Chennai region. You will drive end-to-end sales inquiries, prepare techno-commercial proposals, and manage quotation processes for industrial automation products including hydraulics, pneumatics, and process valves.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the sales operations and sales support functions for the Chennai region.
• Manage end-to-end sales inquiries, prepare techno-commercial proposals, and oversee the quotation process for industrial automation products (Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Process Valves).
• Collaborate with and provide backend technical support to the Pan-India field sales engineering team to drive order conversions.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal cross-functional teams (design, production, and procurement) to ensure smooth order execution.
• Track regional sales targets, maintain accurate CRM data, and generate weekly/monthly MIS reports for senior management.
• Mentor and guide junior internal sales engineers to improve technical product pitching and customer retention.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, sales coordination, or technical sales management within the industrial automation, fluid power (hydraulics/pneumatics), or machinery sector.
• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/EEE.
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic cylinders, actuators, and process valves.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-value B2B client accounts and lead a sales support team.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with mandatory fluency in English and Tamil (regional language).
