Job summary

Fortune Automation seeks a field sales engineer to visit OEMs, machine builders, and manufacturing plants in Chennai. You will understand customer applications and recommend valves, cylinders, grippers, and related automation products.

You will prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries, trials, and orders, and build long-term relationships with engineering, maintenance, purchase, and production teams. Regular travel within Chennai and nearby areas is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in industrial sales, preferably pneumatics, automation, machine components, or related products.
• Comfortable discussing technical applications and visiting customers regularly.
• Good communication and follow-up skills; ability to communicate in Tamil and English.
