Blue Star in Kolkata is seeking a sales professional to drive revamp opportunities in the HVAC sector, engaging new and existing customers, contractors, and engineering firms. You will manage end-to-end sales processes, including tenders, bids, and order execution, while ensuring post-sale support and timely fulfillment.

The role requires a Diploma or BE/B.Tech and 3+ years in HVAC sales, with a focus on government tenders and channel networks.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/B.Tech in mechanical or related engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC or industrial sales.
• Experience with govt tenders, bids, and channel sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop revamp sales opportunities in HVAC for new and existing customers.
• Ensure quality standards for pre-sale and post-sale support and order fulfillment.
• Build relationships with customers, contractors, engineers, and architectural firms.
• Initiate sales process; prequalify govt tenders and reverse auctions with technical submissions.
• Prepare sales proposals, estimates, BOQ/BOM; follow up to close orders per ABP.
• Analyze bid documents with HVAC consultants/government officials.
• Achieve revamp sales and execution targets as per ABP.
• Manage channels and sustain constant business growth.
• Monitor competition and provide insights to the reporting manager.
• Track payments and receivables as per TOP.

• Identifying and developing/generating the Revamp business opportunities/Sales funnel for Machine/Equipment sales with new and existing customers through existing Customer base, Open Market and channels by utilizing product knowledge & applications experience in the HVAC market.
• Ensures quality standards are maintained for both pre-sale and post-sale customer support and order fulfillment
• Build relationships with new and existing customers, contractors, engineering and architectural firms
• Initiate sales process, Focus on Prequalifying in Govt. tenders/ reverse auctions and other customers with Technical submissions and statutory requirements in line with BOQ.
• Preparation of sales proposals, estimates,BOQ/BOM, follow ups with the concern client team and ensure to close orders with expected AGM in line with ABP
• Process and analyze feasibility assessments and/or all bid documents for Tenders and reverse auctions, in coordination with HVAC consultants /Govt. Officials
• Achieve Revamp sales & execution target as per ABP
• Handling the existing Channels and hand hold those accounts to generate constant business.
• Monitor Competition, provide information to the reporting manager and discuss to arrive at suitable action.
• Payment Tracking and collections as per TOP and should have good knowledge on receivable management.
