Job summary

Repaix Automation & Services in Raipur is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to independently develop industrial customers, understand technical requirements and generate business for automation and electrical products.

You will visit industries, propose technical solutions for VFDs, PLC/HMI, electrical panels, switchgear, and energy-saving upgrades, coordinating with engineering and sales to secure orders.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in industrial technical sales.
• Experience in VFD/PLC/automation/electrical panels/switchgear sales preferred.
• Willingness to travel within Chhattisgarh and nearby industrial locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop new industrial customers and maintain relationships.
• Generate enquiries and business opportunities for VFDs, PLC/HMI, Electrical Panels, Switchgear and Industrial Automation products.
• Visit industries, understand application requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare technical/commercial offers in coordination with the engineering and sales team.
• Follow up with customers for quotations, negotiations, purchase orders and payments.
• Coordinate with the service/engineering team for site visits, troubleshooting, commissioning and after-sales support.
• Develop business through OEMs, manufacturing industries, EPC contractors, panel builders and system integrators.
• Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.

We are engaged in VFDs & Drives, PLC/HMI, Industrial Automation, Electrical Panels, Switchgear, Power Quality Solutions, and Industrial Automation Services. We work with industrial customers for product sales, technical support, retrofit projects, maintenance and automation solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer who can independently develop industrial customers, understand technical requirements and generate business for automation and electrical products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new industrial customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Generate enquiries and business opportunities for VFDs, PLC/HMI, Electrical Panels, Switchgear and Industrial Automation products.
• Visit industries, understand application requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
• Promote products such as AC Drives/VFDs, PLC, HMI, MCC/PCC/VFD Panels, MCCB, ACB, MCB, Contactors, OLR, ATS and other industrial electrical products.
• Identify opportunities for VFD replacement, retrofit, automation upgradation, panel modification and energy-saving solutions.
• Prepare technical/commercial offers in coordination with the engineering and sales team.
• Follow up with customers for quotations, negotiations, purchase orders and payments.
• Coordinate with the service/engineering team for site visits, troubleshooting, commissioning and after-sales support.
• Develop business through OEMs, manufacturing industries, EPC contractors, panel builders and system integrators.
• Maintain regular customer visits and prepare sales reports, enquiry status and follow-up reports.
• Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
• Travel within Raipur, Chhattisgarh and nearby industrial areas as required.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

Candidates should have good practical understanding of:

• AC Drives / VFD selection, applications and basic troubleshooting
• PLC & HMI
• Industrial Automation
• MCC / PCC / VFD / APFC Panels
• MCCB / ACB / MCB / Contactor / OLR / ATS / Changeover
• Motors and basic industrial electrical systems
• Basic understanding of control panels and electrical drawings
• Industrial communication and automation applications will be an added advantage

Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in industrial technical sales.
• Experience in VFD / PLC / automation / electrical panels / switchgear sales preferred.
• Should be comfortable with industrial customer visits and technical discussions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Should have a result-oriented approach and ability to generate business independently.
• Willingness to travel within Chhattisgarh and nearby industrial locations.
• Candidates with experience in VFD/Drive, automation product distribution, panel sales or electrical industrial product sales will be preferred.
