Job summary

Acme Air Equipments is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive order bookings and acquire new customers in Pune district. You will acknowledge inquiries, prepare quotes, and follow up on orders while maintaining daily and monthly activity reports.

You will visit customers, present technical information, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure timely payments. Regular vendor interactions and participation in events are expected.

Responsibilities

• Generate firm order bookings month on month; exclude existing OEMs.
• Generate new customers every month.
• Acknowledge inquiries, prepare and submit quotes, follow up for orders; acknowledge orders.
• Visit existing customers monthly and record visits in reports.
• Make daily calls to existing/potential customers and log in daily report.
• Submit daily activity reports with customer details by email.
• Send introductory emails to new/potential customers weekly.
• Submit monthly sales reports by the 1st/2nd of every month including daily calls, visits, quotes, orders and planning."
• Arrange technical presentations to potential customers monthly.
• Collect satisfactory performance reports from existing customers.
• Follow up for timely payments against orders.
• Attend techno-commercial discussions with customers as needed.
• Prepare and submit vendor approval documents monthly and pursue clearance.
• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth order execution, factory visits, and ISO document/audit submissions.
• Attend trade shows/online seminars/webinars as required.

Job description

Responsibility of sales engineer

To generate firm order booking, Month on Month basis.
Existing OEM shall not be considered in this target.

To generate new customers every month.

To acknowledge inquiries, prepare and submit quote and follow up for the order. To acknowledge Orders.

To make courtesy visits to existing customers every month and capture the same in visit reports

To make daily calls to existing/potential customer and to capture the same in the daily report.

To submit report on activities carried out during the day. Report to be submitted by email by end of the day. Report shall have customer name, person, designation, contact number, email id and brief on points discussed.

To send introductory email to new/potential customers on a weekly basis.

To submit monthly sales report by 1st/2nd of every month, covering daily calls report, visit report, introduction email sent report, order booking report, quotation status report and next month planning report.

To arrange for technical presentations to potential customers on Monthly basis.

To collect satisfactory performance reports from existing customers/old customers

To followup and ensure timely receipt of payment against customer orders.

To attend techno commercial discussion with new/existing customers as and when required

To prepare and submit application/documents for new vendor approval every month. To follow up and clear the same.

To co-ordinate with internal departments for smooth execution of Orders, Co-ordinate with customers visiting our Factory, preparation and submission of ISO documents/audits.

To attend trade shows/ online seminars / webinars as and when required
