Job summary

The Chopras is seeking a student success advocate to onboard learners, educate them on the Student App, and drive meaningful use across daily, weekly, and monthly horizons. You will align with student goals, help them navigate courses, universities, and mobility options while staying abreast of evolving education trends.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in user-focused roles within Ed-tech or student services, with a passion for international education and a collaborative mindset for working

Qualifications

• Some form of global exposure and experience through education or work.
• Experience in Ed-tech, marketplaces, aggregators with strong multi-sided network effects.
• 1–2 years of experience in supporting interactions with users/customers.
• Experience with students or a young population of users and an international team of stakeholders.
• Experience in the Student Mobility and International Education space working closely with students and universities.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding students to the platform and educating them on how to use the Student App.
• Being invested in the goals and vision of the student to help advance objectives.
• Help students search, discover and shortlist opportunities that will help advance their future.
• Influence and connect students with decisions on courses and universities for final choices.
• Stay updated on student preferences, evolving skills, and changes in the international education landscape.
• Build and tap into the broader student community to support their base.
• Drive Daily, Weekly and Monthly usage and retention on the app to move students through stages.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Onboarding students to the platform and educating them on how to make the most of our Student App


• Being super invested in the goals and vision of the student to use our platform and resources to help advance their objectives


• Help students search, discover and shortlist opportunities that will help advance their desired future


• Be a phenomenal influencer and connector of key decisions along the journey, including what courses + uni's to apply to and what uni's to choose when it comes to the final decision


• Be enormously resourceful in keeping up with changes in student preferences, evolving skills, emerging careers, changing regulations, and guidelines across the international education landscape


• Actively build and tap into the broader community to support your base of students


• Drive and accelerate Daily, Weekly and Monthly usage and retention on the app to support student goals in moving from one stage to the next

Requirements:

• Some form of global exposure and experience through education or work


• Prior experience in Ed-tech, marketplaces, aggregators and platforms with strong multi-sided network effects.


• At-least one-two years of strong experience in supporting interactions with users/customers - this is a must as you will be working closely in leading and nurturing students from one stage to the next to help advance their objectives.


• Prior experience in working with students or a young population of users and an international team of stakeholders


• Prior experience in the Student Mobility and International Education space working closely with students and universities
