Job summary

TC Global seeks a student success advocate to onboard and educate students on our platform, guiding them to leverage the Student App for achieving academic and career goals.

You will actively help students search and shortlist opportunities, influence course and university choices, and build a supportive community to sustain ongoing app usage and retention.

Qualifications

• Experience in Ed-tech or education marketplaces.
• 1–2 years of customer-facing interactions to guide students through journeys.
• Experience with international students or global teams.
• Familiarity with student mobility and international education space.

Responsibilities

• Onboard students to the platform and educate them on using the Student App.
• Be invested in the student goals and vision to leverage our platform and resources.
• Help students search, discover and shortlist opportunities to support their objectives.
• Influence and connect key decisions about courses and universities for final choices.
• Stay updated on changes in student preferences, skills, careers, and regulations across international education.
• Build and engage the broader student community to support your base of users.
• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly usage and retention of the app to move students through the journey.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Onboarding students to the platform and educating them on how to make the most of our Student App
• Being super invested in the goals and vision of the student to use our platform and resources to help advance their objectives
• Help students search, discover and shortlist opportunities that will help advance their desired future
• Be a phenomenal influencer and connector of key decisions along the journey, including what courses + uni's to apply to and what uni's to choose when it comes to the final decision
• Be enormously resourceful in keeping up with changes in student preferences, evolving skills, emerging careers, changing regulations, and guidelines across the international education landscape
• Actively build and tap into the broader community to support your base of students
• Drive and accelerate Daily, Weekly and Monthly usage and retention on the app to support student goals in moving from one stage to the next

Requirements:

• Some form of global exposure and experience through education or work
• Prior experience in Ed-tech, marketplaces, aggregators and platforms with strong multi-sided network effects.
• At-least one-two years of strong experience in supporting interactions with users/customers - this is a must as you will be working closely in leading and nurturing students from one stage to the next to help advance their objectives.
• Prior experience in working with students or a young population of users and an international team of stakeholders
• Prior experience in the Student Mobility and International Education space working closely with students and universities
