Job summary

The Chopras in Bengaluru, India, seeks a proactive student engagement specialist to onboard learners onto our platform and guide them through the Student App. You will champion the student’s goals, help them explore courses and universities, and influence their final decisions with timely insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in Ed-tech, marketplaces, aggregators or platforms with multi-sided networks.
• 1–2 years of customer/user interaction experience is essential.
• Experience with students or a young user base and international stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Student Mobility and International Education space.

Responsibilities

• Onboard students to the platform and educate them on using the Student App.
• Be invested in the student’s goals and vision to advance objectives.
• Help students search, discover and shortlist opportunities to progress.
• Influence decisions on courses and universities during the journey.
• Stay informed about changes in student preferences, career trends, and regulations.
• Build and tap into the broader student community.
• Drive daily, weekly and monthly usage and retention of the app.

Job description

• Onboarding students to the platform and educating them on how to make the most of our Student App
• Being super invested in the goals and vision of the student to use our platform and resources to help advance their objectives
• Help students search, discover and shortlist opportunities that will help advance their desired future
• Be a phenomenal influencer and connector of key decisions along the journey, including what courses + uni's to apply to and what uni's to choose when it comes to the final decision
• Be enormously resourceful in keeping up with changes in student preferences, evolving skills, emerging careers, changing regulations, and guidelines across the international education landscape
• Actively build and tap into the broader community to support your base of students
• Drive and accelerate Daily, Weekly and Monthly usage and retention on the app to support student goals in moving from one stage to the next

Requirements:

• Some form of global exposure and experience through education or work
• Prior experience in Ed-tech, marketplaces, aggregators and platforms with strong multi-sided network effects.
• At-least one-two years of strong experience in supporting interactions with users/customers - this is a must as you will be working closely in leading and nurturing students from one stage to the next to help advance their objectives.
• Prior experience in working with students or a young population of users and an international team of stakeholders
• Prior experience in the Student Mobility and International Education space working closely with students and universities
