Job summary

TC Global in Bengaluru is seeking a student success advocate to onboard learners onto the platform and educate them on maximizing the Student App. You will stay deeply invested in each student’s goals, guiding them through courses and university choices to advance their objectives.

You will actively connect students with opportunities, track evolving preferences and skills, and build a strong community around international education.

Qualifications

• Some form of global exposure and experience through education or work.
• Prior experience in Ed-tech, marketplaces, aggregators and platforms with multi-sided network effects.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in supporting interactions with users/customers.
• Experience working with students or a young user population and an international team of stakeholders.
• Experience in Student Mobility and International Education, working with students and universities.

Responsibilities

• Onboard students to the platform and educate them on using the Student App.

• Help students search, discover and shortlist opportunities to progress their future.
• Influence and connect students to decisions on courses, universities and final choices.
• Be resourceful in tracking changes in student preferences, skills, careers, regulations, and guidelines globally.
• Actively build and tap into the broader community to support students.
• Drive daily, weekly and monthly usage and retention on the app to move students from one stage to the next.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Onboarding students to the platform and educating them on how to make the most of our Student App
• Being super invested in the goals and vision of the student to use our platform and resources to help advance their objectives
• Help students search, discover and shortlist opportunities that will help advance their desired future
• Be a phenomenal influencer and connector of key decisions along the journey, including what courses + uni's to apply to and what uni's to choose when it comes to the final decision
• Be enormously resourceful in keeping up with changes in student preferences, evolving skills, emerging careers, changing regulations, and guidelines across the international education landscape
• Actively build and tap into the broader community to support your base of students
• Drive and accelerate Daily, Weekly and Monthly usage and retention on the app to support student goals in moving from one stage to the next

Requirements:

• Some form of global exposure and experience through education or work
• Prior experience in Ed-tech, marketplaces, aggregators and platforms with strong multi-sided network effects.
• At-least one-two years of strong experience in supporting interactions with users/customers - this is a must as you will be working closely in leading and nurturing students from one stage to the next to help advance their objectives.
• Prior experience in working with students or a young population of users and an international team of stakeholders
• Prior experience in the Student Mobility and International Education space working closely with students and universities
