Job summary

Sterling Accuris Wellness in Surat, Gujarat is seeking an Inventory Controller to maintain accurate stock records, monitor levels, and ensure timely procurement.

You will implement FIFO/FEFO, coordinate with procurement, and support audits, with a focus on minimizing stockouts and losses while keeping SOPs and documentation up to date. You will perform physical stock verification, prepare variance and ageing reports, and coordinate inter-lab stock transfers to avoid shortages.

Qualifications

• Maintain inventory records accurately in ERP/LIMS/software.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly inventory levels and consumption.
• Perform regular physical stock verification and reconcile system inventory with physical stock.
• Ensure proper store management, including stock arrangement, FIFO/FEFO implementation, and housekeeping.
• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) and coordinate Purchase Orders (PO) with the corporate procurement team.
• Follow up with vendors and the corporate team for timely PO processing and material delivery.
• Coordinate inter-lab stock transfers to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Monitor expiry dates and minimize inventory losses due to expiry.
• Prepare and submit inventory, consumption, stock variance, and ageing reports.
• Coordinate with laboratory operations to ensure uninterrupted availability of consumables and reagents.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, inventory control policies, and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation.
• Escalate critical shortages, delayed deliveries, and inventory discrepancies to the regional manager and corporate supply chain.
