Job summary

Aspira Pathlab & Diagnostics in Mumbai seeks an experienced Inventory & Purchase professional to oversee procurement, stock control, and supplier relations. You will ensure reagents, consumables, and equipment are available across locations while enforcing FIFO/FEFO and NABL/NABH documentation standards.

Candidate should have 4–7 years in Inventory & Purchase, with at least 2 years in Diagnostics or healthcare.

Qualifications

• Degree in commerce, science, pharmacy or supply chain with business acumen.
• Experience in diagnostics, healthcare, hospital or pharma procurement.
• Strong vendor negotiation and cost-control abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage PRs, POs, quotations, vendor negotiations, and timely procurement.
• Ensure availability of reagents, consumables, chemicals, and equipment across all locations.
• Monitor inventory levels, reorder points, stock ageing, and near-expiry items.
• Coordinate inter-branch stock transfers and ensure FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Manage vendor relationships, performance, pricing, quality, and service issues.
• Verify GRNs and coordinate PO, invoice, and GRN reconciliation with Finance.
• Conduct monthly stock reconciliation and physical inventory verification.
• Identify discrepancies and implement measures to improve inventory accuracy.
• Support cost-saving initiatives, alternate vendor identification, and rate negotiations.
• Prepare inventory and procurement MIS, including consumption, ageing, and procurement KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and maintain documentation for NABL/NABH and internal audits.
• Maintain proper traceability and documentation of laboratory reagents and consumables.

Preferred candidate profile

4 to 7 years of experience in Inventory & Purchase

Minimum 2 years in Diagnostics, Healthcare, Hospital, or Pharmaceutical industry (preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science, Pharmacy, Supply Chain, or Business Administration n MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain (preferred)
