Responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt, loading, unloading & Storage of incoming Materials.
• Examining related materials for physical counting & defect free condition from Warehouse viewpoints.
• Offering received material for inspection & assigning defined location at Warehouse for storage.
• Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
• Schedule materials being transferred to and from warehouse; coordinates transfer of inventory between departments.
• Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
• Warehouse planning and Design, Warehouse manpower planning, Operation Planning, Packaging Design, and Sourcing
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned the area of operation.
• Monitoring inventory levels using software programs and initiating transportation or shipments when inventory levels become too low or high
• Ensure that all warehouse operations are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices
• Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics.
• Overseeing transportation involves arranging the movement of goods, selecting optimal transportation methods, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.

Job Purpose (Significance of the role & Objectives)

Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder points and initiate action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies management of irregularities.
