Deputy Manager - Diagnostic Supply Chain
Deputy Manager - Diagnostic Supply Chain is responsible for supporting and managing supply chain operations related to diagnostic services, laboratory consumables, medical equipment, and inventory management. The role involves coordinating procurement activities, monitoring inventory levels, managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely availability of diagnostic supplies, and supporting operational efficiency across diagnostic departments.
- Support end-to-end supply chain management for diagnostic and laboratory operations.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of diagnostic reagents, kits, consumables, and medical supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock availability across diagnostic departments.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, laboratory, and operations teams for smooth supply chain activities.
- Track stock movement, consumption trends, and material utilization regularly.
- Conduct inventory verification, stock audits, and reconciliation activities periodically.
- Monitor expiry management and ensure proper handling of near-expiry or expired diagnostic materials.
- Manage vendor coordination, delivery schedules, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Ensure timely processing of purchase requests, indents, and procurement documentation.
- Prepare inventory reports, supply chain MIS reports, and operational performance updates for management.
- Support implementation of inventory control measures to minimize shortages, wastage, and excess stock.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate maintenance and servicing support for diagnostic equipment when required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within supply chain operations.
- Support logistics and distribution activities for diagnostic supplies across departments or locations.
- Maintain proper documentation of inventory records, procurement activities, and stock transactions.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams for budgeting and operational planning activities.
- Supervise and guide store and inventory staff for efficient workflow management.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and operational review meetings.
- Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and effective communication with vendors and internal departments.
- Perform additional supply chain and operational responsibilities assigned by management or supervisors.
