Job summary

Centre For Sight is seeking an OPD support assistant to help registration, guiding patients, and ensure smooth movement within the clinic. You will assist with wheelchair/stretcher movement and support doctors and nursing staff during routine OPD activities.

The role focuses on patient-facing tasks, room preparation, and maintaining supplies to ensure efficient patient flow and timely consultations.

Qualifications

  • Education: 10th/12th pass; healthcare-related certification is an advantage.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, nursing home, or healthcare facility preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients and attendants with registration, consultation, investigations, and other OPD-related processes.
  • Guide patients to the appropriate doctor, consultation room, diagnostic area, pharmacy, billing counter or other departments.
  • Manage patient queues and support smooth patient movement within the OPD.
  • Assist elderly, disabled, or physically challenged patients with wheelchair/stretcher movement when required.
  • Support doctors and nursing staff during routine OPD activities as instructed.
  • Help prepare and maintain consultation rooms and ensure required supplies are available.
