Job summary

First American in Bengaluru seeks an experienced IT Help Desk professional to provide end-user support for Windows OS and Office 365, handle hardware repair and setup, and manage basic network configurations. You will maintain assets and assist with policy enforcement.

Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability are essential, with a focus on delivering timely, clear assistance to users across the organization. This role is based on-site in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in user help desk/support with strong Microsoft product knowledge (Outlook, Windows OS, Office 365) and user account management.

Responsibilities

• Provide user help desk support for Windows OS and Office 365 applications.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware including scanners and printers.
• Perform hardware and software installation, patch management, and basic network configuration.
• Manage antivirus updates and preventive maintenance for desktops/laptops.
• Maintain asset inventory, vendor reports, and interactions.
• Configure and enforce local system policies and group policies; manage user accounts and access rights.

Job description

Technical Skills:

• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 10,11.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for Scanners/Printers and various PC components.
• Installation, Configuration of MS-Outlook Office 365
• Basic installation & troubleshooting knowledge on Windows 2019 server Operating system.
• Technical skills related to Desktop Patch management, Software Installation and Basic Networking skills.
• Install, configure and maintain regular updates of Antivirus.
• Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops and any other Hardware devices.
• Maintaining inventory of Assets, documents vendor reports and Vendor interactions.
• Knowledge of Local System policies and Group policies.
• Knowledge on Work group/Domain/DNS /DHCP.

Experience:

• Excellent working knowledge with a range of 5 to 7 years in User Help desk support with a good understanding of Microsoft products [Outlook, Windows OS, installation procedures, troubleshooting knowledge in Microsoft office suite] and administration of user accounts and access rights.
