Job summary

Net Access India is seeking an IT Support professional to provide first-level technical assistance for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals. You will install and configure Microsoft 365 apps, Office, Windows OS, and related software, while ensuring security patches and updates are applied.

You will diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, support video conferencing, and document resolutions in the ticketing system.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, barcode devices, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support Microsoft 365 (Office 365) applications, including Outlook email configuration.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10 & Windows 11 operating systems.
• Install and support antivirus software, Microsoft Office, email clients, and other business applications.
• Perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, barcode machines, and related devices.
• Manage desktop and laptop patching activities and ensure systems are updated with the latest security patches.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and application-related issues.
• Assist in configuring and supporting video conferencing solutions.
• Possess basic knowledge of UPS systems and electrical earthing concepts.
• Resolve user issues through phone, email, chat, and remote support within defined SLA timelines.
• Collaborate with L2/L3 support teams for issue escalation and timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Manage user expectations by providing timely updates on issue status and resolution timelines.
• Follow IT support processes, security policies, and operational procedures
